The 65-metre tall structure is open to punters with 41 cabins seating eight each and VIP cabins seating four, Gerendai told a press conference. A ride on the Sziget Eye will last an average of ten minutes, he said.
The Sziget Eye will be open from 10 am till midnight from Sunday through to Thursday, and from 10 am till 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. The tourist attraction will remain on the square until October.
This year, the Sziget festival will be held from August 11 to 18 on Obuda island in the north of Budapest.
