Tarlos: congestion fee for Budapest unavoidable
Budapest, September 18 (MTI) – The introduction of congestion fees in Budapest is unavoidable, Mayor Istvan Tarlos said on Friday.
Tarlos told a press conference that either an annual “Budapest sticker” would be issued for a price of 5,000 forints (EUR 16) or a two-step, combined system introduced with a second fee for a zone in the city centre.
