Taylor Swift will not come to Hungary despite Budapest Mayor’s request

The American singer’s newly announced concerts do not include Budapest. Taylor Swift will not be coming to the Hungarian capital in the near future, despite the mayor’s request.

Taylor Swift announced on Wednesday that she will add 14 venues to her European tour. She will perform a total of 54 times in Europe as part of the Eras Tour, but will not be coming to Budapest.

Gergely Karácsony, the mayor of Budapest, had earlier written a letter to the singer asking her to come to the Hungarian capital.

Now that Swift is skipping Budapest, Hungarian fans will have to go at least as far as Vienna to see the world-famous singer. The bad news for the fans is that they will have to wait more than a year for that too, as Swift will only be performing in Austria in August 2024, hvg.hu reports.
