Teenage gangs robbed at a frequented tourist spot in Budapest – VIDEO

The police caught three teenagers; two perpetrators are underage.

On 19 September, four boys were spending their time on Gellért-hegy when they were threatened by a group of four at around 9 PM. The criminals told them to hand over their valuables, and one of them pulled out a gun that later was identified as a realistic toy gun and not a real weapon. The victims handed over a mobile phone and earphones. After this, the perpetrators left the scene. –wrote police.hu.The victims reported the case to the police the following day. Not too long after the incident, the teenagers were caught by the police on September 24.

The teenagers aged 18, 16 and 14 testified. The criminal justice procedure is ongoing.

The current case, however, is not the first occasion when unfortunate events took place because of teenagers turned criminals. At the end of 2019, boys aged 14-16 attacked 11 people. According to the juvenile prosecutor’s proposal, four of them would serve their sentence in prison, and one would be suspended.

Initially, two boys decided to use gas weapons, alarm weapons and their air weapons to rob victims, with their faces covered like bandits. Later, they allowed three other minors to be involved in the criminal activity. They threatened people in the streets and got their phones and money.
