The coolest media portrayal of a Rubik cube – VIDEO

MNO.hu reports how in the first trailer of Oliver Stone’s feature film, Snowden the audience could see a Rubik cube playing a significant role. It helps Edward Snowden to get data out of a facility that will be released and will lead to the American surveillance scandal.

After Laura Poitras’ Citizenfour, this year another movie dealing with Edward Snowden’s story is being released. This time, it is directed by Oliver Stone, who has brought already political thrillers to the screen before. Snowden is planned to hit the American cinemas on the 16^th of September, 2016.

The very first trailer, apart from showing what shall be expected from the movie, gives a super cool advertisement to the Hungarian Ernő Rubik’s invention, the Rubik cube. According to the trailer, the internationally known and loved Rubik cube provided help for Snowden to play out the agency when leaking the data.

The protagonist is portrayed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who could really grasp this bitter-IT-guy character of Snowden, writes mno. Also, the aforementioned Poitras and Glenn Greenwald of The Guardian, who was the very first to share the scandal with the public, will be represented in this action thriller.
