This is how Budapest’s first smart mall will look like – PHOTOS
According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, the construction of Buda’s biggest shopping centre, Etele Plaza, is already on its way. The owners hope to welcome 40 thousand visitors/day after the inauguration.
As we have reported, the location of the mall might seem a little bit out of reach at first, but actually, several highways and roads intersect nearby. Based on estimations, around 165 thousand people use the Kelenföld railway and metro station on a daily basis. Moreover, there are many residential complexes in the neighbourhood, not to mention the agglomeration.
It will be Buda’s largest shopping mall – the biggest fashion lines will be represented on 137 thousand square metres.
The investment is financed by Unicredit and Erste Bank, granting a credit of 150 million euros for the developer Futureal Group.

It will be Budapest’s third biggest shopping- and entertainment centre, next to Futureal’s office development project, Budapest ONE.
The owners hope to welcome 40 thousand visitors/day. The dwellers of the neighbourhood have the 125% of the country’s average purchasing power.
There will be a parking lot with 1300 places, equipped with a navigational and GPS system which will make finding an empty spot significantly easier.
Furthermore, a mobile application will help shoppers find a given shop or service fast and efficiently.
