Trump would like to copy the Hungarian ‘mother-woman, father-man’ law if re-elected

Trump swore that if re-elected, he would accept anti-transgender bills and would start a ‘war’ against the leftist ‘gender insanity’. He would like legislation acknowledging only two genders. Therefore, if re-elected, he would copy the Hungarian mother-woman, father-man law.

Trump to turn against the ‘LGBTQ and transgender lobby’?

He talked about his plans in a video shared on his page at Truth Social, the social media site he created. He would like a positive education about families, punish doctors offering gender change and ban trans women to compete in women’s sports teams. “No serious country should be telling its children that they were born with the wrong gender,” Mr Trump said in the video. “Under my leadership, this madness will end,” Trump said according to the Telegraph.

Furthermore, he plans to pass bills barring minors from receiving gender-affirming health care in the United States. Moreover, the Justice Department will investigate “the pharmaceutical industry and individual hospitals to determine whether they deliberately covered up horrific long-term side effects of sex transitions to get rich” if reelected.

Hungary amended the constitution with the mother-woman, father-man clause in December 2020.

Orbán: Hungarians will be proven right

Hungarians will be proven right, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Friday, commenting on recent statements on border protection by two top EU officials. Orbán  responded to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen calling the strengthening of the Turkish-Bulgarian border the most important task in connection with the reinforcement of the EU’s land borders. The prime minister also noted that Manfred Weber, leader of the European People’s Party (EPP) group in the European Parliament, proposed building fences “in exceptional cases” at the bloc’s external borders with EU support.

“Ursula von der Leyen and Manfred Weber would strengthen the EU’s border protection. There we go! Hungarians not are, but will be right!” Orbán said on Facebook. In a post on Twitter, the Hungarian prime minister said: “Finally! Dear Ursula von der Leyen, dear Manfred Weber, welcome to the club!” “We’ve been fighting for stronger borders for 10 years. As it turned out we Hungarians have been right all along,” Orbán said.
