Two Budapest hotels have made the latest Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, with the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest ranking third and the Aria Hotel Budapest sixth among the best hotels in Central and Southern Europe.
Budapest hotels score top spots in regional ranking
The Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest and Aria Hotel Budapest have both been recognised in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, securing places among the top 10 hotels in the Central and Southern Europe region.
The Four Seasons Gresham Palace took third place, while the Aria Hotel Budapest ranked sixth in the regional list.
The ranking was based on the votes of 798,867 readers living in the United States, who evaluated their travel experiences and the destinations and hotels they would most like to return to.

The top 10 hotels in Central and Southern Europe were:

- Rosewood Vienna
- Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest
- Park Hyatt Vienna
- The Phoenicia Malta
- Aria Hotel Budapest
- Rosewood Schloss Fuschl
- Esplanade Zagreb Hotel
- Hyatt Regency Belgrade
- Das Edelweiss Salzburg

Aria Budapest a regular Readers’ Choice favourite
The Aria Hotel Budapest has repeatedly appeared among the Readers’ Choice Awards winners since opening. According to information provided by the hotel and reported by Turizmus.com, it received recognition in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2025, making its latest appearance another addition to an established record.
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are among the best-known international travel rankings, covering hotels, cruises, countries, cities, resorts, trains, airlines, airports, spas, islands and luggage based on readers’ votes.
The 2026 results are available on the Condé Nast Traveler website and will also be featured in the magazine’s November issue.
