Budapest, June 12 (MTI) – Vehicle manufacturing remained the major factor behind the growth of Hungary’s industrial output in April, although growth was more widespread than earlier, figures published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday show.

Industrial output increased by 10.1 percent according to both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures from a year earlier in April, KSH said. The increase compares to a slightly higher unadjusted 10.6 percent and a lower workday-adjusted 8.1 percent figure in March.

In a month-on-month comparison, seasonally- and workday-adjusted output increased 2.4 percent.

The vehicle industry upped its output in April year-on-year.

The figures were unchanged from a first reading released on June 5.
