VIDEOS: the best and worst ranking hostels of Budapest!

Christian Grossi makes travel videos on his TikTok. Recently, he visited the worst and cheapest, and the best and most expensive hostels of Budapest. He shared his experiences in two videos you can check out below.

“Trust me, I’m not going back”, he concluded at the beginning of his video. He said he could not even take a shower because somebody stole his towel. He did not name the hostel with the worst rating but said it received 6.4 points out of 10 and was located somewhere downtown. But its interior resembles the worst rents in some outer district blocks of flats.

For example, on his mattress, there was a stain, probably blood, food or a crushed bedbug. He had to pay for his worst hostel experience in Hungary 14 dollars per night. A Hungarian user posted a comment under his video saying they spent the night in an identical hostel during their school field trip, noizz.hu wrote.

Grossi visited the highest-rated and most expensive Budapest hostel, as well. That cost 28 dollars, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, while the design was exceptional. Furthermore, he just had to close the curtains to enjoy some privacy:

According to his introduction on YouTube, Christian Grossi is a 23-year-old backpacker who has traveled to over 30 countries. “I focus on traveling cheap and showing the world’s amazing places so that people might visit a country they never even thought about”, he wrote. Grossi has more than 1 million followers on TikTok and more than 100,000 on Instagram. Thus, it might be considered important what he says about a hostel or even a city or a country.
