On the last week of the year, we can expect lots of clouds to cover the sky, with snow and rain alternating on most days of the week. Unfortunately, chances of a white Christmas are slim; however, there may be some snow on the second day of Christmas.
Monday
At first, the weather will be cloudy, with the sky gradually getting clearer during the afternoon. In the early hours of the morning in the North-East, sleet can be expected, and it will rain in most parts of the country, too. In the afternoon, snow will likely replace rain, while the winds will pick up, too. Temperatures at night will be between -1 and +5 degrees while the day will be warmer, with temperatures between +3 and +8 degrees.
Tuesday
In the morning, there will be sunshine, most of it in the area East of the Danube. In the afternoon, sleet and snow can be expected. The wind is likely to get increasingly strong. Temperatures will be between -5 and 0 degrees at night and between 0 and +5 during the day.
Wednesday
The clouds will get thinner going from the North-East to the South-West. Those living in the North-East can expect rain or snow. The wind can get increasingly strong in some places. Temperatures will be between -3 and +2 degrees at night and between +1 and +6 degrees during the day.
Thursday
The sky will get increasingly cloudy, with snow and sleet expected for the night. The wind can get picked up in some places. Temperatures will be between -5 and 0 degrees at night and between +1 and +6 degrees during the day.
Friday
The weather will be mostly humid, with fog enveloping some areas in the country. The foggy places can expect rain and sleet, and the wind is likely to get occasionally stronger. Temperatures will be between -5 and 0 degrees at night and between 0 and +6 degrees during the day.
The weekend
A thick blanket of clouds is likely to cover the sky during the weekend. There will be snow and rain in most places. Temperatures will be between -2 and +3 degrees at night and between +1 and +6 degrees during the day.
