According to the latest new car sales analysis of JATO Dynamics, 7731 new cars were sold on the Hungarian new car market in June, which means that the market recorded a 17 % increase in sales as compared to the previous year, privátbankár.hu reported.
Taking into account the whole market, Opel remained the market-leading brand by 11.3 % of sales volume, followed by Ford in second place, and Volkswagen in third place.
As for the individual models, Skoda Octavia (418) recorded the highest sales in June, followed by Opel Astra (306), Suzuki Vitara (226), Ford Focus (220), Volkswagen Golf (218), Kia Ceed (190), and Suzuki Swift (183).
