Who Is On The Hungary’s Rich List?

Budapest, May 4 (MTI) – Sandor Csanyi, chief of OTP Bank, again heads Napi.hu’s rich list, keeping the top spot for the third year in a row.

In second place is Laszlo Bige, the owner of Nitrogenmuvek Zrt, while placed third is Gyorgy Gattyan, who made his fortune in online erotica, Napi.hu said on Sunday, reporting on its publication “100 richest” to be released on May 8.

In order to make it on to the list of Hungary’s hundred wealthiest, you’d need at least 5.3 billion forints (EUR 17m), 400 million more than last year.

The only woman included is Erika Kosa, the head of a financial consulting company.

Adding up the fortunes of everyone on the list, Hungary’s wealthiest are worth 2,460 billion combined, 180 billion more than last year.
