Workers of Audi in Győr are planning a strike
Demands for pay rise, communicated by the Audi Hungária Független Szakszervezet (Hungarian Independent Trade Union of Audi) were rejected, says index.hu. The company did not approve the two main points of the petition that were concerned with the pay rise.
The first major demand of the AHFSZ was the retroactive increase of the minimum wages from this year’s January, by 15 thousand forints. They also demanded that the rise should be equally applied. Furthermore, the union requested the establishment of a work group that should be responsible for the supervision of the current pay system.
After they had been unsuccessful in reaching a common ground with the employer concerning the increase, the AHFSZ created a strike committee, reports Index. The Human Resources manager was also informed about the forming of the committee.
There is no information regarding the date and conditions of the strike yet.
