Tragic: 4th victim of boat collision on Danube recovered
Police found another body in the Danube on Thursday, bringing the death toll from the Verőce boat accident to four. Three people are still missing.
As Daily News Hungary reported yesterday, the body of a missing person, 19-year-old Márton Varga, was found by the police in the Danube between Vác and Sződliget on Wednesday.
Now, the body of the fourth victim of the boat collision was recovered.
“We have found the fourth victim of the speedboat accident… The body of a 28-year-old young woman was returned by the Danube at Sződliget. Now the two siblings are together… Our colleagues continue to search tirelessly for the victims. We will bring them home! Rest in peace, Dia! Our sincere condolences to the family, it’s unimaginable…” – said the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) on Thursday afternoon. The victim is 28-year-old Diána Erdei.
