The 7th Budapest Mangalica Festival will be held from February 7-9 at Freedom Square, just a few blocks away form the Ministry of Rural Development. The program details are in the article.

This gastronomic event is all about the curly-haired mangalica pig, a Hungarian heritage breed, which came close to extinction just a few decades ago. You can taste a variety of products, mainly sausages and salamis, made from mangalica meat, which is said to be more flavorful and healthier than regular pork.
It’s free to enter the Mangalica Festival.
The Pig Sector programme will received 1.6 billion forints again this year, just as it did last year, György Czerván announced on last week at the opening press conference of the 7th Budapest Mangalica Festival, kormany.hu website said.
