Did Hungarians go crazy because of the virus? – horrific stories

A 14-year-old boy stabbed his classmate in an elementary school in Tatabánya on Wednesday. One day before, an older woman went in the wrong way on the M6 motorway where she caused an accident, but instead of offering help, she drove away.

According to Index, the police caught the boy who stabbed his classmate in Tatabánya and are investigating him because of causing grievous bodily injury. The 14-year-old perpetrator is now in pre-trial detention, and media already discovered that the cause of the attack was a girl. Those who saw what happened

thought that the victim was only simulating when he cried for help. 

However, when they saw the blood, they called the teachers who tried to take care of the injury.

The other incident happened on the M6 motorway where an older woman drove against traffic and caused an accident. However, when she realised that, she did not stop or offered help but turned and went away immediately. According to the police, the driver of a car moving in the correct direction realised that they would crash frontally, so he tried to avoid the catastrophe by slamming on the breaks, but he

could not prevent the vehicle next to him from crashing into him. 

The two drivers suffered injuries healing in fewer than eight days, but the damage is worth millions of forints in their cars.

Police officers arriving on the scene of the accident discovered in half an hour who the perpetrator was and caught the woman in her place in Gárdony. There, she admitted what she had done and said that she started to drive against traffic in Százhalombatta. Even though she saw what she caused,

she turned back and did not stop until she arrived home in Gárdony.

As we reported before, COVID-19 seems to have a massive effect on all areas of crimes around the globe. Some countries, such as the US, show a significant decrease in criminal incidents but an increase in domestic violence cases. Street crimes have significantly decreased because there are fewer people on the streets due to the lockdown. In other countries, the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted the situation, but this is not the case in Hungary. Even before the pandemic, crime rates have been low, and they stay relatively the same, even in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. That is why Hungary’s crime rate cannot be seen to have changed drastically.
