Ruling parties hold comfortable lead in Hungary – poll
Hungary’s ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance would end up with 55 percent of the vote if elections were held this weekend, as against 44 percent garnered by the joint list of the left-wing opposition parties and 1 percent by other party lists, pollster Real-PR 93 said on Tuesday.
By this autumn practically a two-party system has emerged in Hungary, with right-wing Fidesz and the joint list of the left-wing opposition fighting for victory in the general election next spring, the pollster said, adding that
the other parties are expected to attract but a tiny fragment of votes.
Among all voters, the ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance stands at 46 percent, the opposition alliance at 42 percent and other parties at 2 percent.
A tenth of those asked were unable or unwilling to disclose their party preference.
Real-PR 93 interviewed a representative sample of 1,000 respondents over the phone between October 19 and 21.
As we wrote yesterday, Ferenc Dancs, the deputy state secretary for North America of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, said that the USA sponsors broadcasts on Radio Free Europe intended to undermine the Hungarian prime minister. Details HERE.

Moderator, I corrected the earlier version for typing errors. Please use this one. Thank you.
What else?
I never voted for Fidesz but this time it is Fidesz.
The “szemkilövető” Gyurcsány and his wife, the “hóhér unokája” Dobrev hate Hungarians. You can say that Orbán is this and Orbán is that but he does not hate Hungarians because he is Hungarian.
It will be a fair election because we have strict voter registration and voter identification laws.
Forget stealing this election as the globalist, communist democrats stole the American election from President Trump.
Soros can spend all his crooked money trying to steal this election. It will not work -:)
The opposition remain a Shambles.
When they announce a Policy – what they believe they can offer Hungary – by change or new injection into Hungary of ideas, they totally lack conviction and clarity.
There is a “timidness” – a deep un-certainty in what thet are attempting to Sell and Market – to the people of Hungary.
It reminds me of going to the Comedy Theatre – Vigszinhaz in Budapest – for a performance by the late and great French Actor & Mime Artist – Marcel Marceau (1923 – 2007).
The opposition to me are likened to Marceau – speak no words but a little minuscule amount of body animation ///.
The simple fact is that the Oposition is made up of a variety of parties. How can they put forward policies that they all agree on?
And if they win, how could they possibly govern effectively?
