The largest-ever St. Stephen’s Day festival began yesterday afternoon with several concerts in Budapest. And today, on the National Day of Hungary’s State Foundation, the programs are at their peak.
As we wrote, the country prepared the biggest celebration of August 20 ever.
The multi-day festival continues today and tomorrow in the capital: the flag-hoisting and the inauguration of military officers took place in the morning, and was followed by an air parade.
There will be the Holy Right procession in the afternoon and the “biggest firework display in Europe” will end the day. In addition, a number of versatile programs await those interested. There will also be concerts in several parts of the capital.
