British authorities extradite drug dealer to Hungary
Budapest, July 27 (MTI) – British authorities have recently extradited to Hungary a Brit suspected of running a drug business in Budapest earlier, national police said on Monday.
According to charges the 45-year-old man produced drugs in a lab in northern Budapest between 2010 and 2012, the police said on its website.
The suspect mailed the drugs to clients mostly in the United States and Australia, the statement said.
The lab turned out 45 kilos of drugs with an estimated black market value of 300 million forints (EUR 960,000).
The suspect was arrested in early July and extradited to Hungary last week.
The police also detained an accomplice, a 28-year-old Romanian citizen.
