We recently came across a video on Rick Steve’s Youtube channel, which is an oldie but a goodie. It was shot several years ago, but the structure and information shared are still relevant and valuable today. The host of public television’s “Rick Steves’ Europe” explores Budapest in a 30-minute compilation and dives into the historic and cultural wonders of our capital 🙂
“We soak in elegance at the thermal Széchenyi Baths, stomp and slap with traditional dancers at a folk concert, visit the Communist All-Stars in Statue Park, remember Hungary’s secret police at the House of Terror, sample some paprika in the Great Indoor Market Hall, and cruise under floodlit monuments on the Danube” writes the best-selling travel author in the description of the video.
He even pronounces the name of Budapest perfectly 🙂
