Budapest Marathon expected to draw 30,000
The 33rd SPAR Budapest Marathon Festival, a two-day event to be held on October 6-7, is expected to draw 30,000 people, organisers told a press conference on Monday.
Due to construction works in the City Park, the start and finish of the race will be relocated to the ELTE university campus at the Lágymányosi Bridge, Árpád Kocsis said.
The event drew a record 32,000 people in 2017.
Fully 5,400 runners attended from 81 countries.
