Autumn has brought several new developments to Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest, with ÉS Bisztró launching a new Sunday brunch concept and Kempinski The Spa being named Hungary’s Best Hotel Spa at the 2026 World Spa Awards.
New Sunday tradition at ÉS Bisztró
Since 20 September, ÉS Bisztró has been serving its new Sunday Brunch every Sunday from 11:30am to 4pm, offering guests a relaxed alternative to the traditional Sunday lunch.
The concept combines an à la carte brunch menu with some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, giving guests the freedom to put together their own Sunday meal. Options range from Eggs Benedict and oysters to Beef Wellington, Sunday roast and the restaurant’s iconic Tafelspitz.
The brunch is designed for a variety of occasions, whether it is a family lunch, a long gathering with friends or simply a leisurely Sunday afternoon. A live DJ provides the soundtrack throughout the afternoon, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.
Guests can also choose from a dedicated drinks menu featuring Bellinis, Bloody Marys, martinis and champagne. Two-hour free-flow beverage packages are available as well, alongside soft drinks and mocktails.
The Sunday Brunch will run throughout the autumn-winter season, every Sunday from 11:30 AM to 4 PM. Guests arriving for brunch can also use the hotel’s underground garage free of charge during brunch hours.

Kempinski spa takes home another major title
Meanwhile, Kempinski The Spa has once again been recognised at the World Spa Awards, taking the title of ‘Hungary’s Best Hotel Spa’ in the 2026 edition.
The award marks the sixth time the spa has received the distinction, according to Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest.
Spa Manager Katalin O’Nagy said the recognition was a tribute to the work of the spa’s therapists and reception team, highlighting their role in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests.
The latest award adds another international accolade to Kempinski The Spa’s record and underlines the hotel’s focus on luxury wellness services in the Hungarian capital.
With a new Sunday brunch and another major spa award, Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is entering the autumn season with both its dining and wellness offerings in the spotlight.
