Corvinus University acquires AACSB accreditation
Budapest’s Corvinus University has acquired the accreditation of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AASCB), one of the most prestigious accreditations for business schools, awarded to only some 6 percent of such institutions worldwide.
The AACSB was founded in 1916, and works with rigorous examination methods to evaluate education and research, development and student achievements, the statement said. Currently, 954 institutions in 59 countries are accredited.
Corvinus Dean Zoltán Szántó said the accreditation was a new milestone in fulfilling the university’s mission and strategy. He added that it was a testament to the success of the government’s university reforms, which saw Corvinus spearhead the drive to create a foundational model in 2019, putting the institution on right path to meeting the highest international standards in education and research.
