‘EU leftists, Soros network’ to interfere with Hungary election?

Pro-migration, left-wing European Union politicians and the “Soros network” is interfering with the upcoming Hungarian election, Fidesz MEP Balázs Hídvéghi said on Thursday, in response to a letter of 62 MEPs, calling on the OSCE to carry out a full-scale election observation in Hungary.

Speaking to Hungarian public media in Strasbourg, Hídvéghi said the initiators of the letter to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe were “well-known members of the Soros network” such as the Helsinki Committee and Amnesty International, and “pro-migration MEPs who have been serving them for years.”

The author of the letter, Daniel Freund of the Greens, used to work for Transparency International, and “continues to lobby for punishments for Hungary” as an MEP, he said.

“We find among the signatories Katharina Baley [S and D], infamous for calling for the starving out of Hungary and Poland unless they would dance as Brussels whistles. So is Greens party member Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, a member of the LIBE committee, currently at work at another mendatious report on Hungary,” he said.

Those MEPs have been attacking Hungary for years “because we don’t allow migrants into the country and protect our children form LGBTQ  propaganda,” he insisted. Hídvéghi slammed the MEPs of Hungary’s Democratic Coalition (DK) and Momentum Movement who have signed the letter. He insisted

the Hungarian left was “in panic … trying to justify an election defeat in advance.”

Hídvéghi said the European Left wanted to see “the Hungarian leftist alliance of DK head Ferenc Gyurcsany” and the joint opposition’s prime ministerial candidate, Peter Márki-Zay, in power.

The letter is the first step of an open intervention into the Hungarian election,

he said. “The letter itself is nothing but empty provocation … any observer groups are free to enter Hungary. They will see with their own eyes that the Hungarian election is free and democratic, as were the ones in previous years,” he said.
“We will not cave in to pressure. As long as the Fidesz-Christian Democrats [KDNP] lead Hungary, they will protect the country from migrants and our children from LGBTQ propaganda,” he said.

Justice Minister Judit Varga said on Facebook that signatories to the letter were “urging interference with Hungary’s election”. She said the letter was “full of falsehoods and ignoble criticism of Hungary”, but the authors “seem to forget that OSCE has routinely sent observers to Hungary in the past”. She added that the observers “will see another free and democratic election”.

Nonsense. For the truth here is the article in the Guardian: european-meps-call-for-election-observation-mission-to-hungary. Read it.

Truth is Soros is not only ”pro migration”, he’s also ”pro corruption” and ”pro destruction” of western countries.
If you like this man, please move to Soros-friendly Sweden and reap all the ”benefits” there. Don’t ruin Hungary.

There is evil and there is Soros. The word evil is not sufficient for Soros. Soros’ feeling were hurt because he was not made king of Hungary and his stupid liberal ideas were not implemented. He hates Europeans, therefore his plan is to flood the EU with Muslims. Muslims are about 500 years behind in social evolution. Soros enjoys seeing Arab women oppressed and abused. Soros always tries to interfere in Hungarian politics. He supports inane NGOs who are willing to betray the country and ready to jump to fulfill all his wishes. Hungary’s election credibility was never called in question, unlike the one in the US. No observer should be allowed, and if they must be present, they should pay all their expenses, arrange for the transportation, a guard (also paid by them) should accompany them at all times to ensure that they do not interfere.

Again. Talking migrants. Can’t we just focus on stopping our Best and Brightest young Hungarians from moving abroad? We educate and train them – then they leave in droves, depriving Hungary from their talent, skill and tax revenues!

Using something that is more of a comic rather than a series news platform and one which does not have its own investigative journalists but picks up crumbs from other news ‘chatter’ platforms as a source is really scrping the barrel, even by your low standards. At the best of times what you write is indicative of having eaten too much Tourtière or Beaver Tails as beloved by Canadian residents like yourself and with the inevitable results.

There is a difference between mariavontheresa says: and @mariavontheresa says: The latter @mariavontheresa is done by a foolish person who does not have opinions based on facts. @mariavontheresa could be one of Soros’ minions or puppets, probably gets paid as many NGO’s in Hungary by foreign entities.

I retired at 50 when I sold my international company. I have no political affiliations. I do not receive any payments other than through investments made through a stockbrokers in London and through properties that I buy and sell on occasion as a hobby Both here in Hungary and in London. Once again you are writing nonsense. There is a line in the famous children’s book (although also very educational for adults) The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster which is “Don’t jump to conclusions because you might not be able to get back again”. You would be well advised to bear that in mind. Now then, enjoy your Beaver’s Tails.

Conservatism was established in 1818. Conservative governments served its population well. Hungary has a populous conservative government that serves the population well. Friends that often visit the UK tell horror stories, not do they feel safe in large cities anymore. If you are a UK resident, you should appreciate the law and order in Hungary. Having Hungarian friends, exposure to both left wing and conservative media, my opinions have always been based on facts. So far, you have not mentioned one proven facts. You are the fan of the chaos that reigns rampant in the EU. It is time that you supported the rights of Hungarians’ sovereignty. Hungary has the right to create its own laws, determine who lives in its country and definitely create its own future.

I am a Hungarian resident (Budapest) and have dual nationality. (Hungarian and British). I was born in Budapest – my family are a well known family with a long history and some of our artworks are on loan to the National Museum here in Budapest. I lived for many years in London and still travel there frequently. It is not an unsafe city, like wise Bath and Exeter, also cities to which I travel frequently. Heavens only knows where your ‘friends’ lurk, but it can’t be the sort of places that I go to. Perhaps they frequent the poorer parts, ie the northern cities.

Strange that you left the UK. Your present residence shows that life is safer and better in Hungary, thanks to Mr. Orban.
