Government-close influencer tried to humiliate Hungarian soldiers fighting for Ukraine
Kristóf Trombitás is a Hungarian influencer promoting the government’s standpoint on multiple issues, including the ongoing war in Ukraine. He even slammed the Hungarians fighting for Kyiv on the Eastern front. Or at least tried to.
Mr Trombitás posted a photo of two Hungarian professors fighting on the Eastern front. Sándor Fegyir and Viktor Traski are teachers of the National University of Ungvár, Uzshorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine. They could have evaded to take part in the military conflict but chose to volunteer on the first day of the war. In the photo, they proudly present their new uniform, pointing to their brand-new Hungary patch.
The government-close influencer wrote under their photo that they are treated as second-class citizens in Ukraine. Despite that, they are proud to be slaughtered as second-class people.
However, even his followers became outraged. They called him armchair hussar and said he would not dare to speak to those Hungarian soldiers like that face to face. Many of them suggested he was a Russia fan who would gladly help the occupying forces in a similar situation, blikk.hu wrote.

Just like his boss, Victor. Talk the talk, but never ever ever walk the walk.
Just like most “influencers” they have alligator mouths that can’t be backed up by canaries’ asses! He hides in some safe place (for now) and offers criticism to people he doesn’t have the balls to directly engage with…all mouth!
They have bravely chosen to fight for their country: Ukraine. They’re proud of their decent and show their colours, in return for which somebody decides this is a good time for some polarization and stoking culture wars. Sad, really.
