Govt decree issued on launching French University in Szeged
(MTI) – The government will launch a French University under the auspices of the Szeged University, the official government gazette said on Wednesday.
The new university in Szeged, southern Hungary, will have an annual budget of 40 million forints (EUR 128,000) until 2018. Another 20 million forints will be earmarked to it for this year by the minister of the Prime Minister’s Office.
At a forum in late 2013 in Szeged University’s Francophone University Centre, former Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi announced plans to establish such a university.
