Gyurcsány’s DK party envisions millions of protesters on Hungary’s streets

Democratic Coalition European Union Hungarian government

If Prime Minister Viktor Orbán moves Hungary a single step closer to losing European Union membership, then “millions of us will be out in the streets”, MEP of opposition DK Klára Dobrev said on Friday. DK is currently the strongest Hungarian opposition party. Even so, its support does not reach 20 pc, while Fidesz leads with almost 50 pc, based on the latest opinion polls.

The DK shadow cabinet leader told an online press conference that according to “a recording” published on Friday from a press meeting held behind closed doors, Orbán said “word for word” that “I wouldn’t want Hungary in the EU”.

Dobrev said that after 12 years of wielding “absolute power”, the Orbán regime had reached the point where it was “threatening the nation’s future” in a bid to stay in power. She added that the shadow government would not allow Hungary “to suffer such a tragedy”.

Here is Mrs Dobrev’s post:

In response, Zoltán Kovács, the state secretary for international communications and relations, said on Facebook that the “dollar left, as we have seen many times in recent years … is doing what its principal expects of it”. “This time, they are spreading lies about the prime minister,” he added.

“Viktor Orbán’s position on Hungary’s EU membership is well-known and clear as he talked about it in a speech presenting his programme after last year’s elections: membership … is in Hungary’s national interest,” he said.

The last train has left Budapest, Hungary.
Democracy – destroyed, obliviated removed – from the Governance of Hungary.
Passengers on board, and he had the ‘Gull” to use the Royal Waiting Rooms at Nyugati – the present Prime Minister of Hungary – Victor Orban – which included the VIP list – of the ‘Shapers & Moulders” and a large contingent of the Oligarchs of Hungary, that ALL played MAJOR roles “Burying” democracy – that left behind – is Hungary, under the Rule and Governance of a Communistic Dictatorship.
The celebratory VIP train out of Nyugati, to Moscow, on his return to Budapest, Hungary – see the reigns of the newly created role as President of Hungary – Victor Orban, commence his Reign.
The History of Hungary – is nearing ANOTHER new chapter.

Why be members of a club that hates you? Why be members of a club that wants to take away your sovereignty? Why stay in a club that bought out all your industries, closed all factories and try to force the country into bankruptcy? Why stay in a group that finances anti-Hungarian and anti-patriotic groups such as US and Switzerland?

Hungary should reevaluate its relationship with the hostile EU. It may be difficult for a while when Hungary leaves the EU but in the long run the country can maintain its sovereignty. In the end, if closer relations with China and Russia will save the country from Colonists Holland. France, Belgium, weak socialist Germany, so be it.

Opinion polls don’t matter a fruit in the National Assembly. It’s Orbán who wields the stick, not Fidesz and definitely not KDNP, They’re just a bunch of “yes men”, Orbán coat-tail riders, groupies, hangers on, along for the ride to make a quick and easy buck,

That “20 pc” (in the opinion polls) will get you fruit when it comes to decision making and action, and as long as Gyrcsány’s name is associated with the DK, they will never be in the voters’ minds as a genuine alternative in with a chance.

The Hungarian voter will never be allowed to forget Gyurcsány’s forthright Őszöd speech.

I would bet my last fillér that there is not a single member in Parliament who does not use such vulgar words, and there is not a single Party that does not lie or mislead the public – especially when they’re in office and foul-ups come one after another.

Its an act of blatant DUMBNESS – in Hungary, if they think, the present Orban Government, could be “Rolled” or “Replaced, by an opposition party led – by a FAILED, a disliked former Prime Minister – Gyurcsany – an individual, that is NOT of these times in his Political thinking, that has no APPEAL to voters in Hungary of all ages – from all “stations in life” – has no Charisma – nor offerings that are of the 21st century – for the betterment and FUTURE of Hungary.
“Roll on” – is the signage in Hungary spread EVERYWHERE – for the Orban Government, continuing to take advantages of the FACT that they have NO opposition to answer to.
Hungary – you know where you are heading and a NO position nor STRONG opposition, a LEADER of these times, not a failed and disliked ageing political identity, you are “rolling on” just like LEMMINGS – to eradicate DEMOCRACY and return to massive similarities to pre 1989.
The – “RICH get Richer and the POOR get Poorer ” – in there millions at a rapid pace in Hungary, which is appalling.

  5. Orbán's MCC closed-door confidential press-conference vs Gyurcsány's Őszöd speech says:
    30/01/2023 at 01:32

Just the other day, we saw how easily the wider media can hold of supposedly “closed-door” confidential press-conference details. (I’m referring to the one held by our supreme leader’s at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium), but I bet my last fillér that, unlike the Őszöd speech, this MCC leak will be quickly hushed by the Orbán-controlled media, and put in the “never to see daylight again” archives so it’s Orbán-Government damaging details won’t surface again – unlike Gyucsány’s Őszöd speech way back in 2006.

Consequently, when the next elections come around, the voting public will forget the damaging details of the MCC closed-door confidential press-conference details that have been leaked.
