Non-aligned MP Hadházy suggests that PM Orbán would go to war with the Serbs in Bosnia: he acquired evidence

Ákos Hadházy, a non-aligned member of the Hungarian Parliament and the MP of Zugló, Budapest’s 14th district, shared several articles on his Facebook page citing Deputy FM Levente Magyar who said that Hungary would intervene if a possible conflict broke out in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He added that the Hungarian intervention would favour Milorad Dodik and the Serbs.
Would Dodik destroy Bosnia?
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a special place in Europe that saw a brutal, inhumane armed civil war in the 1990s that purged communities and murdered tens of thousands of people following the dissolution of Yugoslavia. Therefore, the victorious powers of the Cold War, headed by the United States, made a resolution that created a unified Bosnia comprised of two entities (one of them is the Serbian Republic) and supervised by the High Representative of the United Nations, who has almost unlimited power to intervene if needed.
The problem is that Milorad Dodik, the leader of the Serbian entity of Bosnia Herzegovina does not accept the power of the federal institutions and the High Representative and was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for neglecting the decisions of the High Representative. As a result, the Bosnian prosecutor general was ordered to arrest him. The conflict escalated, and the High Representative halted all financial support from Dodik’s party, Pannon RTV wrote. In response, Dodik threatened Christian Schmidt and said he would give the order to arrest him if he entered the territory of the autonomous Serbian Republic. Schmidt said Dodik tried to undermine the rule of law and constitutional order in Bosnia.

Deputy FM Magyar: Hungary would intervene
Hungary participates in the EUFOR Althea mission, the EU’s peacekeeping mission in Bosnia. However, Bosnia and Herzegovina officially requested the replacement of the Hungarian peacekeepers following Deputy FM Levente Magyar’s statements. Magyar said that in case of a conflict, Hungary would intervene in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Budapest would support Dodik and the Serbs. The federal leadership of Bosnia said Hungary was no longer neutral in the conflict, so the Hungarian peacekeepers should leave the country.

MP Hadházy listed multiple news outlets that wrote about Magyar’s statement and said that Orbán would drag Hungary into a war in Bosnia and Herzegovina because Dodik is a Putinist politician, just like Orbán. Meanwhile, the Hungarian government regularly claims how important it is to bring peace to Ukraine, so whatever the cost is, all EU and NATO member countries should support Trump’s peace initiatives.
Special Hungarian armed forces in Bosnia
Furthermore, special Hungarian armed forces (the units of Hungary’s Counter Terrorism Centre) arrived in Bosnia before. Officially, they were there to help train local police forces. However, some media outlets wrote their task was to take Dodik out of the country if he faced imprisonment following the previously mentioned federal court verdict.
We wrote HERE that the Orbán cabinet signed an ambitious military defence agreement with Serbia. President Vucic even talked to the press about a military alliance with Budapest, but the Hungarian party expressed that the limit of cooperation is Hungary’s NATO obligations. The aim is to form a new military alliance in the Balkans.
Hadházy submitted a written question to FM Szijjártó asking whether Hungary would conduct an armed intervention in Bosnia. He suggested that a denial would provoke the rage of Putin and Vucic.

Any Fidesz “Peace Loving” Hungarians who go into Bosnia aiming to make war deserve what’s coming to them. Hungary is Putin’s proxy actor in the Balkans. The day Hungary gets kicked out of NATO and the EU just gets closer and closer.
