Budapest, October 10 (MTI) – Human Resources Minister Zoltan Balog on Saturday outlined details of development projects pertaining to the education of minority groups to be launched in and around Pecs, in southern Hungary.

Speaking at an event celebrating Hungary’s national and ethnic minorities, Balog said Pecs and surrounding towns will become home to a “Minority-Roma Educational, Cultural and Methodological Centre” which will be financed in part by 844 million forints (EUR 2.7m) worth of EU funds.

The project includes a digital information centre, digital library, language courses and vocational training for minorities.
