Hungarian-German double degree programme to be launched?
Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics met the transport minister of Baden-Wuerttemberg and leaders of local universities as part of his tour of southern Germany on Monday, his ministry said.
The talks with Winfried Hermann, the transport minister, touched on the possibilities of testing in Hungary motorway control systems and electric vehicles made in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
In talks with leaders of Karlsruhe University, further opportunities in research cooperation were discussed, as well as launching joint programmes in which participants obtain dual Hungarian-German diplomas.
At another meeting, Palkovics discussed with representatives of the University of Tuebingen development opportunities in the areas of artificial intelligence, neuro-biology, cancer research and quantum systems, autonomous algorithms,
new generation waste management technologies, as well as alternative ways of storing electric energy.
