Hungarian man with gun causes trouble in Budapest
On the 5th of October, Monday, Hungarian authorities received a call about a man travelling on tram line 1 at Flórián Square holding a gun at one of the other passengers.
Police reported that the incident happened around 9:23 am and the police officers caught the 53-year-old Zsolt P. in less than 10 minutes. He was listening to loud music when one of the passengers asked him to turn the volume down. Suddenly, the man took out a gun from his pocket, waved it around and pointed it at the woman asking him.
Luckily, nobody was hurt, and the police immediately arrested Zsolt P..
In another article published by HVG, new details about the incident were revealed. The 53-year-old Hungarian man was holding a loudspeaker in his hands and got on the tram playing loud music. After one of the passengers asked P. Zsolt to turn the volume down he put out his gun. According to the reports, the man was carrying a gas pistol in his pockets.
The Hungarian Police added that after arresting the man, P. Zsolt denied that he had any connection to the case. He will face the court soon.
