Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, meeting his Seychelles counterpart in Budapest on Friday, said Hungary and the Seychelles had both carried out successful vaccination campaigns, adding that neither had turned the source of vaccines into an ideological issue.
At a joint press conference with Louis Sylvestre Radegonde, Szijjártó said both countries were spearheading vaccinations on their own respective continents, and both had used Eastern and Western vaccines, succeeding in protecting lives and restarting their economies.

A large part of the European Union’s security challenges stem from Africa, Szijjártó said. “So it’s vital that responsible countries like the Seychelles take firm action against terrorism and mass illegal migration,” he said.
