Hungary-Algeria joint economic committee meets for first time
Budapest, September 8 (MTI) – The joint economic committee of Hungary and Algeria met for the first time in Budapest on Tuesday, with Hungarian state secretary Levente Magyar and Algerian farm minister Sid Ahmed Ferroukhi attending.
The meeting approved the final drafts of five bilateral agreements, Magyar said after the event, adding that the accords would be signed during an upcoming visit by the Algerian prime minister to Budapest.
Ferroukhi voiced high hopes of a successful cooperation between the two countries, especially in technology development and knowledge transfer.
Magyar said Hungary would soon open a trading house in Algeria.
