Hungary, Mongolia Presidents Discuss Bilateral Ties
Budapest, October 18 (MTI) – Hungarian President Janos Ader met Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj at a working dinner in Budapest on Friday evening, Ader’s office told MTI.
The sides discussed bilateral issues including the planned reopening of the Hungarian embassy in the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator next year, the office said.
The two countries’ presidents discussed cooperation in culture, education and water management and agreed to explore further possibilities in economic cooperation.
This is the first state visit Tsakhia Elbegdorj is paying to Hungary as the President of Mongolia. He was invited by President Ader at the UN general assembly meeting in September. He will conclude his visit on Sunday.
Hungary and Mongolia established diplomatic relations in 1950.
