Hungary now connected to the Croatian coast with 3 daily affordable bus services

Following a 15% network expansion in April, Flix Bus is launching direct services between Hungary and the Croatian coast again this year. In the summer of 2025, the green buses will continue to provide Hungarian travelers with easy, fast and environmentally friendly access to the most popular cities on the Croatian coast.

Reach the Croatian coast comfortably

During the summer season, from mid-June to the end of September, three nightly services will run daily between Hungary and the Adriatic. The seasonal schedule covers a total of 19 Croatian coastal towns, including popular destinations such as Zadar, Split, Rovinj, Pula and Makarska. Passengers can board the buses in Budapest and Siófok, with the bus to Dubrovnik also stopping in Miskolc. This means that Croatian resorts will be easily accessible from various parts of the country, not just from the capital.

“We see strong demand for flights to the Croatian coast among Hungarian travelers every year, especially during the summer,” said Michal Leman, head of FlixBus’s Eastern European region. “Many people are looking for a convenient and affordable way to reach their favorite beach destinations without the stress of driving or the cost of flying. By offering three-night services to different parts of Croatia – from Istria through Central Dalmatia to the southern coast – we are expanding our seasonal network and providing greater flexibility and convenience for our passengers.”
