Immigrants offered limited access to westbound trains at Keleti
Budapest, September 9 (MTI) – Immigrants at Budapest’s Keleti station are allowed to board trains to Austria or Germany in limited numbers, public television M1 reported on Wednesday.
Passengers with valid documents have precedence, while migrants are allowed to take the remaining seats, M1 said.
M1’s on-site correspondent at the Hungary-Austria border said that refugees are sometimes ordered off the train to give room for other passengers boarding the train at stations between Budapest and the border, but those migrants can then take the next train to Austria.
