Fully 227 generally elderly patients with co-morbidities died over the past 24 hours, while 11,132 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Saturday.

Altogether 1,520,350 people have been vaccinated in Hungary, 465,643 of whom have received a second shot, the portal said.

The number of active infections has risen to 176,139, while hospitals are caring for 10,583 Covid patients,

1,237 of whom need respiratory assistance.

More than 50 thousand people are in official home quarantine, and the number of tests carried out is more than 4.2 million.

Ever since the first outbreak, 560,971 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 18,068. Fully 366,774 people have made a recovery.

So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest (106,547) and Pest County (77,276), followed by the counties of Győr-Moson-Sopron (32,355), Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén (31,345) and Hajdú-Bihar (30,366). Tolna County has the fewest infections (12,163).

If we calculate the number of infections per number of population in the different counties, the results are different. In that case, Budapest is in the middle of the list while Nógrád, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom, and Somogy counties are leading it.

  • Hundreds of new Hungarian deaths appear in the Covid-19 statistics retrospectively
  • Government: Hungary not ready to ease restrictions yet!

Coronavirus-related restirctions extended until March 29

Hungary closed most shops, services, kindergartens and primary schools for the next month in an effort to curb the third wave of coronavirus infections. MORE INFO HERE AND HERE.

Shops, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations, drugstores, tobacco shops, shops selling tools for “spring gardening”, pet food and fodder shops, and markets, will have to be closed, and services will have to stop, with the exception of private healthcare, social care, financial, postal, and car repair services, suspended between March 8 and 29.

Kindergartens and primary schools will be closed from March 8 until April 7. Gyms will continue to be closed for two weeks, but licenced athletes will be allowed to train and compete behind closed doors. Parks will be allowed to stay open and outdoor sports will also be allowed for activities in which people can maintain a safe distance of 1.5 metres.

The government asks employers to ensure that their employees can work from home wherever possible, particularly in the case of those with children.

Mask-wearing remains mandatory outdoors.

Hungary would impose tighter controls on its borders, adding, however, that freight and transit traffic will not be restricted. Wage subsidies and tax cuts introduced for the hospitality industry will be expanded for the period of the lockdown to all sectors forced to shut down by the new measures.

Figures as highlighted in this article, that have become cataclysmic in number, that on a global scale – Scientific Medical Universal Data – highlight and clearly indicate Hungary, that darker days and times are Immediate and on-going.
The 29th March 2021, the re-evaluation process by our Government – of current restrictions in place, is Nonsensical.
Figures we are witnessing daily – review AGAIN 7 days – Illogical.
Candour – citizens expect and want and deserve – Truth.
Citizens deserve Factual information, the burdensome and demanding times that Challenge us – Hungary – at this time.
Without Truth there is No Trust and Without Trust – We have Nothing.

There is no evidence to support the lockdowns, masks and distancing. No matter how strict or loose the restrictions, wave after wave of the virus takes place.

    It is natural.

It is stupid to quarantine the healthy. We have never done that.

The people with comorbidities should be quarantined and protected. Otherwise, let the virus run its course through the population because nothing will stop it.
