Zsolt Hlinka’s spectacular and symmetric video, entitled Mirror Balaton, keeps popping up at various sites. He’s been collecting footages and videos for this artwork, which was finished just a couple of weeks ago.

‘I would describe my work as a search for symmetry, reflections and impeccable compositions.
With these unusual and exciting visuals I am guiding my spectators and viewers into a known, yet unknown world, that exists, and that it is beyond reality. In my first such video, I have used the popular and also the less-known regions and corners of Lake Balaton to create this unique, peculiar and surreal world of mine.
The hypnotic footages either blend seamlessly and smoothly together or follow one another dynamically. This way, it creates the same sensation as when you’re actually there, exploring the area.’
