Looking for action movie theme? Come to Budapest!

A gang group beat and robbed a man in a Budapest subway more than a week ago. Meanwhile, last Saturday, two men got in fight with three other, one of them suffered life-threatening injuries.

Unquestionably, Budapest became one of the hubs of the international filmmaking industry before the coronavirus epidemic. We reported about the most important ones HERE. It seems that Hollywood would like to return to Budapest to shoot new movies as soon as possible and, based on the stories mentioned above, it will be enough for them to read or listen to the latest police news if they want to create an action movie.

According to 24.hu, a young man asked for help from police officers on July 18 in the 3rd district of Budapest. He told that he was walking in the subway of Flórián square when two men started to follow him. When they caught up with him, they kicked him many times and

took his wallet and mobile phone.

The police could identify László U. thanks to a surveillance camera that recorded the event, and they caught him in the 13th district on July 21 in Lehel square. They suspect him of robbery and the court already allowed them to take the man into pre-trial detention. Authorities could not yet catch his partner, so they ask everybody who recognises the man on left on the above photo to report any information they have, to the police.

24.hu reported about another crime that happened last Saturday in Levelek, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county (Northeastern Hungary). Police took a 17 and a 19-year-old man from Baktalórántháza into custody for

causing a man life-threatening injuries.

The two groups started to fight after they became involved in a heated argument. A 30-year old man from Nyírtass suffered life-threatening injuries while the wounds of his 33 and 34-year-old friends will not heal in 8 days, as well. Police caught the young perpetrators in short and initiated their pre-trial detention.
