SBU is the law-enforcement authority and government security agency of Ukraine in counter-intelligence activity and combating terrorism. According to KárpátHír, a Hungarian news portal in Transcarpathia (Kárpátalja) reporting 7/24 about the Ukraine-Russia war, a Hungarian man asked Putin for an artillery attack on the region inhabited by at least 120 thousand Hungarians.

Based on the news website’s information, officers of the SBU started an investigation in the case. The man shared his call towards the Russian leadership on YouTube. He said that he would like the Russians

to attack different defence facilities in Transcarpathia.

SBU added that the man having Hungarian citizenship shared the exact geographic locations of the facilities on the video streaming site. Furthermore, he called the Russian president to order artillery shelling against those targets.

SBU investigates now for sabotage and damage in state assets.
