The football world will have its eyes on Budapest this Saturday as the Puskás Arena hosts the UEFA Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain. While many fans were unable to secure tickets for the match itself, there will still be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the occasion across the Hungarian capital.

Numerous venues throughout the city are preparing outdoor screenings, giant screens and football-themed events, giving fans the chance to soak up the atmosphere even without entering the stadium.

Here are some of the most popular locations across Budapest where people can watch the final together:

Budapest Garden

Located on the banks of the Danube in Óbuda, Budapest Garden is expected to be one of the largest outdoor venues for the Champions League final. Its spacious garden area and giant screen make it an attractive option for those looking to enjoy the match in a lively festival-like atmosphere.

Jégkert: classic beer garden atmosphere for the Champions League final

Another popular outdoor football venue on the Buda side of the city is Jégkert. Located near Széll Kálmán Square, the well-known beer garden offers both covered and open-air areas, making it a comfortable choice even if the weather takes an unexpected turn, despite forecasts predicting a pleasant evening.

Champions League fan festival finale at Treffort Garden

Located in the city centre, Treffort Garden has been hosting football-themed programmes throughout the week leading up to the final. Saturday’s match will be shown on a giant LED screen as well as television screens across the venue. Quizzes, games, screenings of memorable Champions League finals and community events have all been organised to build excitement ahead of kick-off.

The garden is particularly popular among younger visitors and university students. Thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and central location, a large crowd is expected on the night of the final.

Budai Parkszínpad: Champions League Football by the Lake

Situated beside Feneketlen Lake, Budai Parkszínpad offers a quieter alternative for those hoping to avoid the busiest city-centre venues. One of its most distinctive features is its tiered seating layout, which provides clear views of the screen from almost every table.

Champs (Margit) Island

Champs Sziget on Margaret Island is also preparing for the final. The match will be shown on a large LED screen, while visitors can enjoy several terraces and spacious outdoor areas. With the Danube nearby and the island’s green surroundings, it may appeal to those looking for a more laid-back setting to enjoy the match.

Széllkapu Park

Located in Millenáris Park, Széllkapu Park will also host an outdoor screening of the final. Its large green spaces and relaxed park atmosphere make it a suitable option for those who would rather avoid crowded sports bars.

Városliget Fan Zone

During Champions League final weekend, Városliget will become one of the main hubs for UEFA’s official fan activities. Alongside the live screening, visitors can take part in various football-themed games, interactive experiences and entertainment programmes. The venue is also expected to attract large numbers of Arsenal supporters, while PSG fans will primarily gather at the official fan meeting point near MTK Sportpark closer to the stadium.

Zsiráf Pest

Located next to Nyugati Railway Station, Zsiráf Pest has long been one of the city’s most popular outdoor meeting spots. Its spacious terrace and central location are likely to attract plenty of football fans on Saturday evening. It is a good option for those who simply want to enjoy the match with a drink in hand without heading to one of the larger fan zones.

Although all table reservations have already been taken, organisers say VIP tickets remain available. Visitors may also find places through last-minute cancellations or standing-room areas.

Most venues are expecting strong interest, so arriving well before kick-off is highly recommended. While some locations operate on a reservation basis, others allocate seating on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning early arrivals will have the best chance of securing a good spot for one of the biggest matches of the football calendar.
