May Festival of Museums focuses on C20th
Budapest (MTI) – Events and personalities of the C20th will be in focus at the 20th May Festival of Museums in the Hungarian National Museum at the weekend, the chief organiser said on Thursday.
Celebrating ICOM World Museum Day, the event will feature exhibitions, presentations, interactive programmes and concerts in the museum complex and its garden in central Budapest, Nora Kiss told a press conference.
The awards Museum of the Year and Exhibition of the Year will be presented at 2pm on Saturday, she said.
Altogether 112 museums from around Hungary will be represented at the festival, which will offer 45 programmes, Kiss added.
