Earlier this week, between Monday and Wednesday, the Ministry of Defence also made an announcement on similar movements. At that time, such operations were promised for roads in the counties of Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg.
The new route of the convoys will include the following sections.
The Hungarian Defence Forces urge the public to approach military vehicles with due caution and in compliance with traffic rules. In fact, the size and speed, as well as the length and progress of convoys, differ from the usual traffic patterns. The truth is that no civilian vehicles should drive between the vehicles in the closed convoy. The civilian vehicles will receive assistance at the beginning and end of the convoy, reports 24.hu.
The Ministry of Defence is putting emphasis on the following: “We ask everyone to drive in the vicinity of military cargo in all cases, taking into account the current road, weather and visibility conditions.”
They added that “in compliance with the relevant legislation”, they will endeavour to cause the least possible disturbance to the peace of citizens between 17 and 19 June.
The security of the Hungarian people is the most important thing. Hungarian and American soldiers are now guaranteeing this on joint patrols under the leadership of NATO, reports Portfolio.
the Hungarian Minister of Defence, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, describes the new joint Hungarian-American patrol as a special form of patrolling in the vicinity of the conflict.
