EasyJet is launching a new, regular flight between Budapest and Amsterdam. This is the eighth destination of the low-cost English airline that departs from Budapest, privatbankar.hu writes.
The Airbus A320 type planes will fly three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, and they arrive at the Schiphol international airport in Amsterdam.
According to Kam Jandu, the route development manager of the Budapest Airport, 130 thousand people have travelled between Hungary and the Netherlands in the past few years, and the new flight can increase this number by 20-30,000 annually.
Moreover, the British Eastern Airways based in Humberside, England, is planning a one-time weekend trip to Budapest in September 2017, airportal.hu writes. The 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 plane arrives from Humberside to Budapest on September 15, 2017 at 12:10pm and departs two days later, on September 17 at 6pm.
