According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, Barna Vigh, one of the world’s most well-known street riders died. The 28-year-old athlete died in his sleep on June 9 – livetoride.hu said.
Barna Vigh came from Kisujszallas, he studied environmental engineering in Debrecen and he competed for years.
“I’ve been living in a dorm/apartment since grammar school, so I can cycle only on weekends. But for this reason I am much more motivated because I can’t wait to get home and do it. But let’s say the grammar school was where BMX wasn’t looked kindly in the dorm, but in Debrecen, I take it with me many times and I go out on weekdays as well.”
“I think BMX helps at every point of life, not only at university. It teaches respect and to handle certain situations. It’s confidence-boosting (for some, too much) and it makes you more persistent. It can also boost creativity. And not just to go according to the prescribed rules, but be rational and smart” he said in a 2011 interview.
