Orbán’s foreign ministry accuses US President Biden with prolonging the war
US President Joe Biden and David Pressman, the American ambassador to Budapest, want a prolonged war in Ukraine, the communications director of the Fidesz party said on Facebook on Sunday.
Menczer wrote that Biden “and his man in Budapest” also wanted to force Hungary into participating in the war.
“Let there be no doubt: they would take Hungarian soldiers to Ukraine to die,” he said, adding that for Hungary peace and safeguarding peace in the country was of paramount importance.
“We’re sure that Donald Trump would manage to establish peace,” Menczer said. “Indeed, had he been leading America, this war might not even have broken out in the first place.”
