The biggest pedophile scandal in Hungary
We wrote about the child abuse scandal and the presidential clemency in detail HERE. The presidential pardon towards the helper of the abuser came to light earlier this week. Since then, several NGOs and political parties demanded the president’s resignation, who was responsible for family affairs as a member of the Orbán cabinet. One of the most experienced Hungarian political analysts, Gábor Török, wrote that the political career of Novák ended with the scandal. That is true even if she remains president and serves her term until 2027.
Furthermore, the president convened an advisory board with popular members of the Hungarian society and business sector, including writers, anchormen, investors, etc. Several of them quit their job after the scandal broke out, including Gábor Gundel-Takács and János Lackfi.
