President Trump nominates Cornstein as the next US Ambassador to Hungary
President Donald Trump will nominate New York businessman David B. Cornstein as the next US Ambassador to Hungary, the White House has announced.
A native New Yorker, Cornstein is currently serving as chairman of Pinnacle Advisors, a financial and investment consultancy firm.
He previously held top positions at Finlay Enterprise, a billion-dollar NASDAQ Stock Exchange Company, the White House said on its website on Tuesday.
Cornstein held the posts of chairman of the New York City Off-Track Betting Corporation and vice-chairman of the city’s Economic Development Corporation. He was also chairman of the New York State Olympic Games Commission and a board member of the Battery Park City Authority.
He was Man of the Year by the New York based Chemotherapy Foundation and Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
He earned degrees from Lafayette College and from New York University.
