Ryanair has unveiled the first 29 routes for its summer 2027 schedule, including a connection between Budapest and Leeds Bradford Airport in the UK. The announcement adds another airline to the Budapest–Leeds market, where Jet2 already operates direct flights. The new Ryanair route is available to book now, alongside the airline’s other newly announced connections.

The announcement, made on Friday, 9 October, is the first step towards Ryanair’s planned bumper summer 2027 schedule. The airline says it intends to operate more than 2,500 routes connecting 230 destinations across its network.

Budapest to get a new direct flight to Leeds

The new Budapest–Leeds Bradford route is among the 29 connections announced so far. Leeds Bradford Airport serves Leeds and the surrounding areas of West Yorkshire in northern England, making the route a potential option for travellers visiting the region.

The first batch also includes several other European connections, as well as routes to North Africa. Ryanair plans to connect destinations such as Alicante, Bari, Palermo and Memmingen with new locations across Europe and beyond.

Ryanair urges travellers to book early

The airline’s chief marketing officer, Dara Brady, said the new routes would give customers an early opportunity to plan their summer 2027 holidays.

“These are the first of our new summer 2027 routes to go on sale, with more exciting additions to be announced as Ryanair continues to expand Europe’s largest route network,” Brady said.

He encouraged passengers hoping to secure the lowest fares to book through the airline’s website or mobile app. All 29 newly announced routes are available to book now. Ryanair expects demand for summer travel to build over the coming months and warns that fares may rise as bookings increase.

Further additions to the summer 2027 schedule are expected to be announced later.
